Fourth of July – 2009

Another year, another massive Fourth of July celebration.

The local band Fifty-Five Wrangler was on the main stage.   You can catch them frequently on Friday and Saturdays nights at Double Nickle Live about 2 mile from downtown.

Gallery at The Green Room – March 24, 2009

The first annual Gallery at The Green Room is on March 24, 2009.  This is a fund raising event for Taylor County Relay for Life.

The Green Room will be transformed into an art gallery with painting, sketches, photography, and sculptures.

Wi-Fi Hotspots

Several of the downtown merchants have free Wi-Fi connectivity to the Internet for their clients.  Downtown broadband speeds (cable) have been clocked at 32Mbps.

The Bank of Campbellsville Building gets a 2nd story renovation to house a new apartment.  The floorplan is a 2 bedroom, 1-bath, with gourmet kitchen.   The interior walls are exposed historic brick.

The exterior was refinished and re-painted with period accurate colors.

Uptown/Downtown – Meetings Begin

Uptown/Downtown is a new monthly meeting (each third Thursday) for downtown business owners and guests to socialize.   The event  begins at 1 minute after five – 5:01 PM. Businesses take turns as hosts. This is a social event with great food.
